Post-Doctoral Research Associate
SHORT BIO
Dayana Donneys Victoria is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate working in the Chemical Engineering Department at Texas Tech University. She has a Master and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universidad del Valle (Colombia) with over 11 years of experience working on the development of research projects in applied engineering at laboratory, pilot, and semi-industrial scale. She joined the CETI-LAB in February 2023 and is currently working on electrochemical depolymerization, one of the most important challenges for plastic upcycling.
Dr. Donneys Victoria has a background in iron, aluminum, and magnesium electro-dissolution and coagulation, advanced oxidation processes for wastewater treatment, electrochemical techniques, and nanomaterials synthesis and characterization. Also, she has experience as project manager and technological process advisor.
