Ph.D. Student

SHORT BIO

Alejandro graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry, in the Spring of 2023. He continued his passion in research by enrolling in the PhD program in the department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University. His previous research experience in heterogeneous catalysis and Machine Learning led him to follow electrocatalytic research closely at CETI-LAB. He is currently working on electrochemical conversion of DoD waste streams for on-site fuel generation. In addition to the current project, Alejandro is interested in electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction and Li-ion Battery systems. Alejandro loves watching the Champions League, playing the guitar and chess.
